The NOS GM A478C Canister Filter arrived timely. Packaging was acceptable. The much worn ACD bag itself had several small tare's around seams, for dirt, bacteria, bugs to enter. Once opened the filter which should be yellow was rusty colored all over with only some yellow in the very inner layer. I am not happy. I am gathering parts for a tune-up. My mechanic will decide if it is acceptable. Meanwhile I will be forced to buy another. In my opinion, this is deception.
