    The part could be better. The spacing for the hvac panel standoff screws were too wide - so much, I can’t blame the panel itself. Then, the captured nut could be improved upon by doing a heat set insert or even just using a tightly fitting nutsert placed in with epoxy. That way when the cap screw is removed, you won’t lose the nut into the engine bay abyss
