It's solid and sturdy, not flimsy or cheap at all. The finishes are perfect without chips or blemishes in the paint or metal. We were impressed with the smooth sweep (not tic-tic-tic) second hand and two color options (red or brass). The shipping was a little longer than expected, but considering current world events, well worth the wait! The packaging was durable and arrived without a scratch!
