As a user/collector I'm looking for functionally sound AND (near) mint items.
A pretty serious dent in the incorporated shade ruins it for me.
Item was well wrapped, but the (pretty loose) shade was not fixed against the lens body and the wrapped item was nog fully supported, due to a rather scarce filling of the package.
The seller FEELING VERY SORRY, doesn't get me much , does it?
Such a situation would be impossible in a shop: A SELLER WOULD BE FACED WITH HIS RESPONSIBILITY AT THE SPOT !!

This lens was damaged in transport by UPS. I advised the buyer to contact UPS because this parcel was sent without extended insurance. As I am not selling as part of a business but privately no compensation could be given as my return-policy states: No returns accepted. The shade on this particular lens is part of the body of the lens so it couldn't be loose. The lens was package properly in bubblewrap with paper filling in a correct sized box. I feel I did my part in this transaction.
