The new style/type unit works great for power on/off, switching preset radio station channels and what I really needed a new remote for is the volume control! I can't get it to switch from the radio to the DVD player, but that's probably the output setup on my old Technics amp/receiver, which I have the DVD on the VCR output. The volume control was worth the cost by itself! It actually arrived a few days sooner than what was 1st stated.
