The replacement gear was well-packed and clearly labeled, so it arrived two days earlier than predicted. The replacement gear is about 30% thicker than the too-easily-broken original so I assume it’ll outlast me. It is a perfect fit in all other dimensions. The sharpener now runs quieter than I remember it ever doing. I hope I never have to replace a gear again but if I do I’ll know who to buy from.
