Excellent service! Quick disapatch and arrived quickly too. Many thanks! The external antenna requires a modification to the board (change a zero ohm resistor position) to use but the modules come set up from the factory to use the on board antenna so to be clear this is not a complaint!

Be aware that all you get is un-programmed hardware, not even a quick-start guide. To make anything useful you must first program the board, perhaps follow this guide: lastminuteengineers com getting-started-with-esp32-cam use board type "AI thinker" (it does not say that on the module). Picture quality as you'd expect for the price. DKJNA delivered as expected. Description doesnt say which ESP32 processir is in the can, or that you need to modify the board to use the antenna.

It works fine and was very easy to use. After trying several ways, I used a small crocodile clip as an impromptu handle; to turn the black ring around the lens and focus it better. I have tried it with a couple of example scripts (Arduino) and also without the motherboard; just a 5 volt supply. Seems to do everything you would expect. Note the motherboard switches get over the issue of the reset button being on the "breadboard" side of the camera so worth the little extra.
