I did have my trailer pop off once, but it was because I hadn't engaged the lock properly; luckily, I had my chains set up. The first time I used the coupler, I was on flat ground, and it locked automatically, so just double check like anything else involving a trailer. Would absolutely buy again.

I need this one for my new camper build. The quality of the hitch is excellent, appears to be well made. The paint coating is really durable. My first one had over 10k miles.
