The material is soft, of medium weight (not thin, not sweatshirt) and fits like a dream. I did take the shirts in, a little, so that they were more fitted, and the fabric was very easy to work with. As a sewer, for over 40 years, I do know the difference between cheap thin fabric and that of good quality, solid fabric. This is beautiful fabric and the rhinestone design is perfect-well done!
