The metal seems really cheap. Shipping was fast and the part is what it is, but the interchangeable feet (open toe, closed toe, ruler foot) do not fit the body of my own convertible free motion foot that came with my Janome 8200. I bought this specifically for the ruler foot portion, but now I have to use the entire thing. At least it was much cheaper than genuine Janome parts
