Seems as if whoever owned it before me pierced the film to the main unit, tried to pretend it was fine and then it got wet. It wasn't fine. Clear water damage on the inside of the unit is why it got bricked. Zero guarantee that if I replace the battery in the unit that it would continue to work. Not the seller's fault so positive review.
