When I purchased, I had forgotten that this design was abandoned and now everyone uses the aluminum style (hence the good price). I did use them and the issues with the car are fixed, but I know they will need replacement in 50,000 miles or whatever. This is the kind of car that may not make it that far, so we're rocking the plastic and worrying about other things.
