As described & This book is absolutely fantastic! This fall will b my 1st hike of the TMB, & tho my trip will b guided, I want to know in great detail the area I'll be hiking as I would like to take future trips, but be able to feel confident/competent in hiking it solo. There're many variants on the TMB & even experienced hikers take wrong turns/get lost, the TMB is known for having sudden storms/inclement weather. Local info, gondolas, etc. The author covers EVERY detail for hikers!! 5+stars!!
