If your cat is struggling make sure you're putting it on right, I made the mistake a few times of putting the top or bottom facing the wrong way. The curved end of the top part should curve around the neck, and the rounded part will sit at the back. The bottom piece, the small end should be on the chest, and the larger end towards the stomach. Also, a cat can escape from this harness if they want, not super easily, but they can.
