The dimensions and form are all correct. The way, the part is produced, doesn't affect it's function. It's not simply glued together - part has a metal pin insert. Part is produced in such a way, because this kind of shape needs to be 3D printed in specific direction, so that it keeps it's strength at the place where it matters - the ball joint socket.
