While I had to update the firmware and do a bunch of things to get it to be detected by my existing Orbi system, and then get it to be synced with the existing router, those are all a function of all the hoops Netgear makes users go through with some of their older Orbi units (mine is an RBR50 router with three existing satellites). The unit is in good condition (some staining, but NBD) and is now running
