Seller Notes: “Likely 1870's book is in good condition for age. The book binding is tight. All printed pages are ... “Likely 1870's book is in good condition for age. The book binding is tight. All printed pages are clean and undamaged, although yellowed from age and may have some foxing around the edges. The cover has some expected wear at the corners where a little bit of the boards are showing through. It is also torn at the upper and lower edges of the spine (see pictures) and has rubbing/fading on the front and back. The text block edge is yellowed from age and has a little foxing and dust soil. Multiple illustrations within the book all still have intact tissue paper covers. There are small pencil marks on the brown endpapers in the front and back of the book which are not easily visualized on the dark color and owner marks on two of the front book pages. There is also a small bookstore sticker on the back pasted endpaper. Book is otherwise unmarked.”
