My second maxi card is also from 1961 entitled Pathfinder St George and has the same stamp St George patron saint of scouts attached to it. This card has George on horseback slaying the dragon and is from the Italian School, older than Durer and not coloured, but still very beautiful and I'm glad I found another treasure find with you, this too is a real beauty and I really love this image as much. Thank you so much for both these cards which are very special to me I love them both, just great.

This maxi-card from 1961 featuring St George and St Eustachius two separate portraits by Albrecht Durer is just beautiful, both dressed in their armour and holding flags relevant to them, St George is holding in his other hand his slain dragon by the scruff of its neck. attached to the card is a stamp of St George (Mi346) as patron saint of scouts. This is a real treasure find for me, I'm so glad I found it with you thank you so much I really do love it very much, both images are just beauties.
