I had always avoided this one at Hobby Lobby because I didn't know if I could deconstruct it into separate strands for spinning. It was easy and now I'm sorry I didn't try it before. I found in my stash, a perfect plying yarn to go with this "redwood" and the final product will be stunning. Also, thank you for the packing paper....I grew up in Janesville and it was fun reading the news
