Well, we have over 10 000 clients who think otherwise !If you want to spend hours trying to cut 1,5mm wide pieces of foam, have fun. Many people don'tAnd if the raw material cost you 1€, you are definitelly not using premium special camera foam.It will be fine for some parts, but for some other (Mirror, ...), if the density and thickness of the foam is not perfect, you can damage the mecanism behind it. We use up to 5 different types of foam in a kit and it's not because we like to diversify

The light seals are of high quality and accurately cut. I like them. The seals for the mirror bumper are mad of thick high density foam and for newer Mamiya RB67 cameras this might be a problem. If the mirror is just slightly blocked by a high density foam and can't get in it's vertical top position then the mechanics for the light baffle are blocked. Meaning the mirror goes up but the baffle stays in it's position. A light density foam for the mirror would be better.
