Engine smoked. Reverse just spun in place. Loud mechanical grinding when put in forward than red lighted. I've been looking for this for over a year so going to my train shop. It sounds like the worm gear is blown. I think my guy can fix it. Wish I had better news. I have the full tca aluminum car set so hope it can be fixed. I will give an update in a couple of weeks. Thanks.
