    Anyone struggling to get into either park or 1st despite correct adjustment is NOT using this cable, an OEM GM/ACDelco part OR the "ball and slot" at the bottom of the selector lever is extremely worn ! I struggled to get correct cable adjustment many times using generic/cheaper cables in the years past , not this one. Also - the durability is much better than generic being the last locally available cable installed by a transmission shop only lasted 2 years Thanks , all works great.
