    Not to sure how these will work we just have to wait and see, because I didn't know it took a special crimper and using anything else is not going to work.

    This item has been very useful for installing my ham radio in my car, the radio works amazingly and there are many connectors to make up for the ones that do not crimp well. With that being said, there have been several times that I have tried to crimp them onto a wire and the crimp fails, the connector and wire come apart which is the reason for taking it down a star. Like I said before, there are plenty to more once a crimp fails though just give the connector a little tug after crimping.
