They chip IMMEDIATLY in light duty steel turning applications with a rigid set-up, soft steel and full coolant immersion. China made. You get what you pay for. Thought I'd try these, BUT, these are COPYCAT INSERTS made to look like legit Sandvik inserts, even has the Sandvik logo on the box. I will be more than happy to go back to buying legit Sandvik inserts even if they cost 4 times as much.
