    This is a very cool basic crab trap. My first time crabbing (Chesapeake Bay) I caught crabs! Unlike the string and hook method where you have to stealthily pull up the line and snatch the crab before he jumps off, as soon as you pull on the string on this trap it captures any crabs chewing on the chicken neck before they can escape. : )
