Even then your spokes are going to pretty much touch the hubs. They're not moving so it's not like there's going to be any rubbing taking place, but it would have been pretty easy to make the distance between the wheels bigger imo. We have an extended disc-brake wheel option available, so that your disc-brake wheels do not touch each other and have plenty of space to hang straight.

Replacement from Peg Perego is going strong after a couple years in a separate machine.
