Unfortunately the box of paper was shipped in a lightweight plastic mailer bag without any other protection. The plastic mailer was torn when it arrived, handling while being shipped damaged the corner of the box and slightly creased one corner of the paper ream.
The box was old and falling apart, it was not "new" and could have perhaps been marked as new-old-stock.
