- _***_ (17)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseFord E4OD Transmission Shift Solenoid 1989-1994 E9TZ-7G391-A; The part came in on time, however it did not solve my problem. It actually created a new problem; shaking and stalling at a stop sign. The rebuilt shift solenoid is probably fine, the transmission has 141,000 miles on it since a rebuild at 160K. No transmission shop in my area will touch it since it is an E4OD and pre 1996 and OBD1. I don't know if it is the wiring or what. I'll probably put the old unit back in at some point.
