I was able to set up this scope that day and viewed stars that night. There was a couple adjustments to be made on the focuser but was pretty easy to set up. Good quality product at a great value.
- t***k (90)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseit is a well built portable scope with some impressive details, the focus mechanism required a little TLC in order to operate perfectly smooth but there is a lot of adjustments available for those who are mechanically inclined. I made a few custom upgrades to my scope and paired it with an svbony 50mm guide scope. The images are pretty decent, and I have mostly svbony extras like the eyepieces, cameras, etc...

I hope to use it for many years even though I have 5 more in the house (by other brands) and some are more expensive than this one. My only complaint is that the internal box arrived with a hole punched by a focuser screw. The protective styrofoam comes it two pieces that engulf the telescope. There was a 1" gap on top. The styrofoam pieces came apart allowing the telescope to rotate inside the box. They must add a 1" thick piece of styrofoam on top of the other pieces.
