No real retention, so it is possible to fall out of the holster, but you really gotta be doing something crazy for that to happen. It is totally comfortable! Almost forgot it was there till I sat down. If it had a little strap across the top that secured the gun in with a snap button or even Velcro, it would be perfect for peace of mind. 100% recommended!
