I've had suede sheepskin in the past but these are hard to keep looking new but leather should wear better.

The last two pairs have had a thicker more pliable sole which is much better and more comfortable. I love that the sheepskin fur lining on these dark brown - looks really nice against the chocolate brown leather. 5 star eBay seller - must be to keep me coming back for more!
