The auto and manual camera lens uses 17 elements in 11 groups and is compatible with FX, DX, FX, DX Crop Mode, and 35 mm film, offering versatility. The minimum focal distance of this Nikon Nikkor 80 mm - 400 mm lens is 7.5 ft, with a 5x zoom ratio, making this a camera for medium to longer distance shots. The aperture of this Nikon camera lens is f/4.5 to f/5.6 with a minimum aperture of f/32. The Nikon Nikkor 80 mm - 400 mm lens uses vibration reduction (VR) for handheld shooting, used in both still photographs and video, optimising for longer distance shooting.
