- r***i (203)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseAfter getting in touch with the seller, I’m now able to get the Nitro+ to work on my 2012 Mac Pro. At first, it wouldn’t boot. So I went ahead and upgraded from High Sierra to Mojave, which does require a 144.0.0.0.0 Boot ROM. I had to remove the card in order to update the firmware as the disc drive wouldn’t open. The Mac Pro still wouldn’t boot. BUT! If I use DisplayPort instead of HDMI or DVI, THEN it boots. So if you had trouble with your Nitro+, try DisplayPort first and see what happens.
