EBay’s buyer protection policies enabled me to return the item. Given that the issue has been resolved appropriately, I would ordinarily not leave feedback- however when I sent pictures of the box to the seller, they immediately insinuated that I was attempting to swap out a different box. This accusation left a bad taste in my mouth for this seller, future customers should be aware.
