It's not in anyway going to cool down a room like a proper A/C, but using cold fridge water with ice packs or ice blocks, does make enough of difference in our motorhome! Like other say, it's noisy but it's either the noise or the heat :-/

They apologised and sent a new one with no quibble. When it arrived it looks perfect for camping with a good size area for draining and a designated area for cups, just as shown in the picture on line and it packs to about 1cm deep.
