The bag's interior had numerous pinholes and worn rubber lining spots that would easlly allow water to seep through the material and soak the bag's contents. I'd experienced this type of condition from my military experience in the past. Although the appearance is very good, it's not really waterproof and only good for display purposes. It's always a hit or miss with these bags
