Somehow this device "tricks" the TV into accepting the HDMI signal from the KAMRUI Mini PC. Finally got the PC to show a picture on the Samsung TV by using this device. Condition of device received was perfect! Value was $10 better vs same product on Amazon (very low cost). Appearance... not sure if Steve Jobs would have approved of the appearance but the device will be hidden away from site
