It mounts the same, has the same color coded wires. It "clocked different- meaning the off- on-on with lights are in a different position which doesn't match the embossed marking on the cover plate. Also it still reaches but the wires are 2-3" shorter than original. Nothing a problem as it works fine. I'm glad I bought it it.
