We purchased this item from this seller and it apparently is a stolen item. Before installing it in on of our commercial properties, I contacted Knox Box to have it rekeyed and the representative mentioned that based on the serial number that it looked like it was a stolen Knox Box. Therefore we lost that money and we were not able to get it rekeyed. It is a shame that vendors on eBay would sell a stolen item knowing that whoever purchase it will not be able to use it legally.

Truly sorry the Knox Company did that. The item was new in the box with MY address and the name of the man I bought my house from. It was not stolen and Knox had NO reason to believe it was (I'm guessing they just want to sell new, not rekey one never installed). I wasn't offered an opportunity to rectify this prior to negative FB being left. I'm a retired fire department Battalion Chief with strong ethics & integrity and would NEVER sell a stolen item. BBB complaint filed against Knox Co.
