I ordered 4 ft-243 crystals with a frequency of 7975 kHz. Found 3 functioning at specified freq while the 4th was DOA. The dead give away was the missing screw and the other two screws were only lightly secure. I pulled the crystal and the it was apparent the metal wafers were in backwards. After correcting that I found the crystal oscillating at 8112 kHz. Not what I was expecting.
