There is some foxing on the edges of the pages but this doesn't affect the text. Significant foxing to the external edges of the pages (see photos). There is writing on the front flyleaf "For Mother, With love and all good wishes from Bernice. Christmas 1940". There is also a blue dash in the top right corner and a white sticky label with something in blue writing that I cannot decipher around "10p". The spine is intact and creased. The cover has shelf wear but is still in good condition for a book around 100 years old. The corners are lightly bumped. The dust cover has been taped along the spine. There are tears along the other folds (see photos). See photographs.”
