The knife arrived with about 2mm of the tip bent to form a sharp hook. I filed off the damaged tip before use. This blade is very sharp and performed well. I notified the vendor of the damage. They sent a new undamaged knife. This time they included a hard plastic guard on the tip. I was not expecting a new knife. I highly recommend Butcher Better!
