I live very close to a substation and voltages are often over 250 volts which was detrimental to my stereo system. Toroidal transformer hum has gone and sound quality has improved now the amplifier is running at the correct voltage. I think for the price the new voltage stabiliser is just what I needed for my stereo system. It has a front panel display and certainly looks the part. Recommend
