- 2***0 (6)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseLock and speed knobs match the originals in appearance and were shipped promptly. To install the knobs on the steel lock and speed levers of the KitchenAid it was necessary to heat the levers with a small butane torch. This softened the plastic of the new knobs so that they could be pushed down onto the levers. Prior to doing this I could not force them onto the levers.Reply from: nitrorcteam- Feedback replied by seller nitrorcteam.- Feedback replied by seller nitrorcteam.You must not have a compatible model... we sell hundreds and they simply lightly tap on perfectly. So you either had a different model mixer or a different shaft size other than what was listed.
