- o***x (1194)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseThe switch works fine. Be forwarned, even though it is listed for the Dremel 395, it is not a direct retrofit for the 395 Type 1. The Type 1 uses a different brush system. With some work, the Type 1 can be converted to use the newer round cap externally replaceable brush system. I am glad I made the conversion (especially seeing you can't get the original style switch/brushes). Order the newer brushes/springs and round caps. Make the square holes, 1/2" round, trim to fit the caps, reassemble.

I very much appreciate this seller for having this item for sale, as these parts are no longer available through Sears. My only slight disappointment is that the items were not protected for shipping and arrived in a shrink-wrapped bundle with no protective packing materials or box. Nothing appears to be broken, but given how carelessly shipping companies handle packages, they were likely banged around quite a bit.
