The Metz Mecablitz 44 AF-1 is a lightweight, easy-to-use flash with superior lighting performance. With the ability to take pictures in a variety of lighting conditions, this Metz flash for Pentax utilizes TTL (Through the Lens) technology and 4 partial lighting levels and shutter curtain synchronization. The easy-to-use flash also includes an integrated autofocusing flash meter and slave, and remote and camera-specific modes for multiple camera use. Additionally, the Metz Mecablitz 44 AF-1 includes a motor zoom function with a range of 24 - 105 mm. The integrated wide-angle diffuse is great for portrait photography because the Pentax flash spreads the light and makes it softer. Plus, the Metz flash for Pentax has a bounce and swivel reflector with flip-out reflector card and a USB port for connecting to a computer for firmware updates. With its supported exposure control and brand compatibility, the Metz Mecablitz 44 AF-1 is an ideal flash for most types of photography.
