Works okay for eliminating light if you turn your head sideways and press your eye against it. However, on my Fuji Xt30 it will not allow the back screen to flip down to take overhead shots without first removing the eyepiece. It can not be used in situations where you might need to suddenly need to take a photo holding the camera above your head. This should have been mentioned in the description. It should be redesigned for this purpose.
