You must also have both original keys, otherwise you cannot complete the software update. In my case it ended with a complete replacement of the central locking, which stopped working shortly after installing the new controller... :-(

- e***r (108)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseUsed the PCM I purchased from them to replace the old PCM (that was so gone that my scanner could NOT even communicate with it!) on my 2005 Pontiac: Grand Prix and it fixed my no-crank condition and my car started. This seller was VERY helpful, answered all my questions and shipped the PCM out the next day so 9 days later I received and my car was fixed! I recommend this seller to anybody!
