The little tool may not be needed that much but it will save you any screwdriver or knife blade scar's and damage. MY choice was to buy the whole cable from dealer parts which they said removing their little grommet instead of installing the whole cable would most likely destroy it. For a $20 shipping fee and about 10 g weight, shipping took 18 days 3. The price structure makes returning impossible, they agree to refund $19.99 but will charge me DHL returning shipping of $17.93. They know this at the beginning, so I have to conclude the seller is a scammer, and you are impossible to return. 4. I ordered similar parts from Aliexpress.
