Unlike some other similarly priced tuners, they didn't come covered in slime, and they feel more stable as well. All screws were included, everything just worked, looks the part perfectly for the project, and one of the best experiences I've had installing any sort of machine heads so far.

Grains don't match between the two pieces, one had a far more uniform look with tight rings visible at the top, while the other looks to have been cut at a different angle, with one side having straight grain and the other having sideways grain right across the angle. the top of that one also has long stripes across the top. Overall good value, and works as a tailpiece.

The wood is well finished and seems to be straight. My only complaint is that the headstock shape is different than what’s featured in the photos. That’s disappointing.
